Students

As a student myself, a laptop is a very important piece of tech for school. Some laptops marketed for students aren't that good, however, as many people need them to do other things besides make a few Word documents. An example of these would be the Chromebooks. These extreme-budget laptops are fine for very simple tasks and light web surfing, but it's unreasonable to expect serious performance or high-graphics gaming from one of these little guys. However, there are some other laptops out there that are great for students.

The Toshiba Satellite C75D-B7215 from Walmart is an amazing value.
At $498, you get a laptop with a heavy-lifting AMD A8 processor and a 17.3" desktop-replacing screen. A gigantic 1 TB hard drive and an optical drive complete the package. Since it's not high-end, it's going to be slightly bulky and it doesn't have a touchscreen, but it's still quite good at this price.
Next up is the HP 15-g039wm at the budget-friendly price of only $358! It has a 15.6" screen with, again, an AMD A8 quad-core chip. It has 4 gb DDR3 RAM and a spacious 750 GB hard drive. It, too, has an optical drive for playing DVDs and other media.
Now, if you're into touchscreens, so far there has been nothing too exciting. I've got news for you. One of the Dell Inspiron 15 models at Walmart (No, I'm not a sponsored blogger, I just find it easier to sift through the options there) has a spacious 15.6" touchscreen and a DVD drive for those movie lovers among you. For $479 with an A6 processor, personally I think that's pretty good.
That's all for my budget/student laptop deals! Come back for more!
